The book titled “Recent Advances in Gyne-oncology” highlights different types of cancer and its treatment. This book has 11 chapters. Each chapter in this book contains anatomy, incidence, etiology, pathophysiology, staging, diagnosis and different types of treatment regimens involved are discussed. This book also focuses on staging and knowledge of its biology which are very useful in the management of any cancer. Chapter 1 in this book emphasizes on cancer of vulva, and similarly in chapter 2 discusses on vaginal cancers. Moving on to further chapters, it discusses on different types of cancers such as cervical cancer, cancer of the corpus uteri, fallopian tube cancer, cancer of ovary, gestational trophoblastic disease and breast cancer. New concept of personalised medicine in the treatment of cancer is also explained. Apart from these, a recent advance in chemotherapy in gynecological oncology is explicated.
