Medical pharmacology is a unique synthesis of basic pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics, which aims to serve the specific needs of medical/pharmacy students as well as of prescribing doctors. This book endeavours to reflect the current status of pharmacological knowledge and therapeutic practices. On one hand, insight gained into mechanism of action of drugs and their biomolecular targets is outlined, while on the other, accumulated evidence about impact of different drugs on therapeutic outcomes is presented.
