The index evaluates Chinese enterprises annually on their performance in CSR management and the level of information disclosure by assessing four different aspects: responsibility management, economic responsibilities, social responsibilities and environmental responsibilities. Moreover, it identifies and analyzes phase-specific characteristics of CSR development in China in the hope of providing references for further studies on Chinese CSR.
